Message: Smaller BUT sweeter fruit than anywhere else.

Message: Although only open a couple of weekends in the fall, this is a wonderful family outing. At Clair's you get to go into an apple orchard and pick your own apples. This is somewhat similar to u-pick at an apple farm elsewhere, although the apples are smaller because it is after all Fairbanks. Be aware that the orchard is on a steep hill and the walking can be slippery if it has been raining. Thus this may not be the best outing for those who are mobility challenged or with really little kids.
